CPA/PFS, TAX PARTNER
Scott joined Bruner-Cox LLP in 1982. Scott provides complex tax, business consulting and financial planning services. He consults with clients on matters such as income and estate planning, financial and retirement planning, general business planning, succession planning and incentive compensation planning.
Scott is a member of the Firm’s Tax Services Group, Construction and Real Estate Services Group and the Manufacturing and Wholesale-Distribution Services Group.
He received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting, graduating with honors, from The University of Akron. Scott received his Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) designation through The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
He is a member of the Institute of Estate Planning Advisors, The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, The Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants and The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants Personal Financial Planning Section.
Scott currently serves as treasurer for the North Canton Education Endowment Fund, president of the North Canton Student Loan Foundation and serves on the Buckeye Council BSA Audit Committee.
He is chairman for the Stark Development Board Finance Committee and serves on the Stark County Development Executive Board. He also serves as a board member and sits on the executive and finance committees for the North Canton YMCA.
