BC Senior Tax Manager, Anna Capaldi, Receives Twenty Under 40 Award
 Anna M. Capaldi, CPA, MT, Senior Tax Manager for Bruner-Cox LLP, has been named one of YSTARK’s Twenty under 40 Professionals. This award honors 20 young leaders who are making a positive impact on Stark County.

Anna is a graduate of The University of Akron with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in taxation. She has more than 13 years of accounting experience, providing tax services to privately-owned businesses.
Anna is a member of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She is a graduate of the 16th class of Leadership Stark County Signature Program, co-founder and treasurer of the Canine Education Association, Inc., and serves as membership chair for Votes for Women. Anna serves as chair of the Leadership Stark County Executive Board and is also a Perry Township Trustee.

BC Akron Associates Help Clean Downtown Akron
On Friday, May 2nd, a team of five BC associates participated in the Downtown Akron Partnership Green and Clean. This one day event, in conjunction with Keep Akron Beautiful week, attracted 300 area business employees and community members, who volunteered their time to help clean the streets of Downtown Akron.
BC Senior Tax Manager and General Services Manager Participate in Vice Presidents Business Forum
Anna M. Capaldi, CPA, MT, Senior Tax Manager and Lisa M. Hilling, CPA, General Services Manager participated in The Ohio Foundation of Independent Colleges Vice Presidents of Business Forum held at Ashland University on May 22, 2008. Anna and Lisa were members of a panel that answered questions regarding IRS Form 990, Audit Standards for Internal Controls and IRS Audits.
Bruner-Cox Welcomes New Team Members
Jennifer Grossman joins the Canton office as a general services staff accountant. A previous accountant with a regional accounting firm, Jennifer joins the BC team with two years experience. She is a graduate of Walsh University with a double major in accounting and management. She is an affiliate member of The Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Michelle A. Maitert joins the Canton office as a general services intern. She is a student at Kent State University pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in accounting.
Lindsay B. Welch joins the Akron office as a general services intern. She is pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in business administration specializing in accounting and finance at Bowling Green State University.

Damian E. Miller joins the CFS team as an executive recruiter in the Independence office. He has nine years experience in the recruitment/staffing industry with a background in technology and healthcare. Damian is a graduate of Penn State University with a Bachelors Degree in hospitality management.
