CPA, MBA, ASSURANCE SERVICES MANAGER
Kara joined Bruner-Cox LLP in 2000. She provides assurance and auditing services in a variety of industries including manufacturing, distribution, construction, not-for-profit and employee benefit plans.
As a member of the Firm’s employee benefit plan team, she annually attends local and national conferences, presents at Bruner-Cox LLP sponsored client seminars, external seminars, designs internal training courses, and consults with clients regarding plan implementation. She also designs and writes articles regarding current retirement plan issues for the Bruner-Cox LLP newsletter. Kara served on the Firm’s Accounting and Auditing Committee.
She graduated from The University of Mount Union with a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting. Kara received her master’s degree in business administration from The University of Akron.
Kara is a member of The Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants and The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She is also on the board of trustees for the Crisis Intervention & Recovery Center, Inc.
