Dane joined Bruner-Cox LLP in 2000. Dane has more than 15 years of accounting and consulting experience working with manufacturing, wholesale-distribution and professional services clients. He provides services that include audit and financial accounting, risk assessment studies, cash flow analysis and forecasting, internal control procedures and documentation, employee benefit plans, and mergers and acquisitions, including experience with private equity transactions. He previously worked in the audit department of a national accounting firm in Baltimore, Maryland.
He is Co-Director of the Firm’s Manufacturing and Wholesale-Distribution Services Group. Dane is responsible for managing internal and external communication of educational information relating to the industry, including internal training, client seminars and newsletter communication.
Dane is a member of the Firm’s Employee Benefit Services Team. As a member of the team, he developed specialized expertise in providing auditing services to defined benefit plans, defined contribution plans, employee welfare plans and Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOP) ranging from 200-2,000 employees.
He is a graduate of the University of Baltimore with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
Dane is a member of The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and The Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants. He also served in the United States Navy.
He is a dedicated member of the local community. Dane serves as treasurer of The Jackson Belden Chamber of Commerce and is a member of its Food Fest Committee. He also volunteers his professional services for several youth organizations in the area.
