Make a difference in your career—and in your life—right from the start at Bruner-Cox LLP. We offer a formal internship program for junior and senior level accounting students pursuing a career in public accounting upon graduation from the following area colleges and universities:

• The University of Akron
• Kent State University
• Malone College
• Mount Union College
• Walsh University

Our interns have the opportunity to truly experience the real world of public accounting. From the moment you walk through our doors, you become a valued part of our team. You will learn practical accounting skills in the areas of taxation or accounting services, including accounting software training. Many Bruner-Cox LLP interns are offered full-time positions upon completion of internship obligations.

Winter internships commence in January and end in April. Summer internships commence in late May and end in August. However, we are flexible in scheduling around students' classroom commitments. Internships can range from 24-55 hours per week.  The ideal candidate must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 overall or higher.  We prefer a candidate who has completed Tax and Auditing courses, and is a Junior, Senior, or Graduate student.  Positions are available in both Akron and Canton locations.
