Scott joined Bruner-Cox LLP in 1982.  He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in accounting, graduating with honors from The University of Akron. He received his Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) designation through The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Scott provides complex tax and business consulting and financial planning services. He consults with clients on matters such as:

• Income and Estate Planning
• Financial and Retirement Planning 
• General Business Planning 
• Succession Planning 
• Incentive Compensation Planning

Scott is a member of the Firm’s Construction and Real Estate Services Group and the Manufacturing and Wholesale-Distribution Services Group.

Scott is a member of the Institute of Estate Planning Advisors, The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, The Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, and The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants Personal Financial Planning Section. 

Currently, Scott serves as treasurer for the North Canton Education Endowment Fund and is chairman for the Stark Development Board Finance Committee and the North Canton YMCA. He is on the Executive Board of the Stark Development Board and North Canton Student Loan Foundation and president of the North Canton Hover Lacrosse Booster Club. Scott is also a member of the Canton Rotary Club and the Kent State Stark Business Advisory Board.
