Theresa joined Bruner-Cox LLP in 2004. A graduate of Michigan State University, she earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in accounting and a Master of Taxation degree from the University of Akron.

Theresa came to Bruner-Cox LLP with 10 years of tax and accounting experience. Prior to joining the Firm, Theresa worked for a “Big 4” company, specializing in providing tax compliance and state and local consulting services to a large, international Fortune 500 company. She is a member of the Firm’s Manufacturing and Wholesale Distribution Services Group, Construction and Real Estate Services Group and the Health Care and Not-for-Profit Services Group, which concentrates on internal and external education related to industry trends.

She is a frequent speaker on State and Local Tax issues. Theresa serves on the Canton Regional Chamber Economic Development Committee, the State and Local Tax Committee, the Ohio Prosperity Project and the Brain Gain Focus Group.  She is  Vice Chairman of the Jackson Belden Chamber Legislative Committee, member of the Akron Chamber of Commerce Government Committee and the Ohio Chamber of Commerce Taxation Committee. She also serves on St. Michael’s School Advisory Board and is a Junior Achievement volunteer.
