Dane joined Bruner-Cox LLP in 2000. He is a graduate of the University of Baltimore with a bachelor's degree in accounting. He previously worked in the audit department of a national accounting firm in Baltimore, Maryland. Dane also served in the United States Navy.

He has more than 15 years of accounting and consulting experience working with manufacturing, wholesale-distribution and professional services clients providing services such as:

• Audit and Financial Accounting
• Risk Assessment Studies
• Cash Flow Analysis and Forecasting
• Internal Control Procedures and Documentation
• Employee Benefit Plans
• Mergers and Acquisitions, including Experience with Private Equity Transactions

Dane is Co-Director of the Firm's Manufacturing and Wholesale-Distribution Services Group, for which he is responsible for managing internal and external communication of educational information relating to the industry, including internal training, client seminars and newsletter communication.

Dane is a member of the Firm's Employee Benefit Service Team. As a member of the team, he has developed specialized expertise in providing auditing services to defined benefit plans, defined contribution plans, employee welfare plans and Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOP) ranging from 200-2,000 employees.

He is a member of The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and The Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Dane is a dedicated member of the local community. He serves as treasurer of The Jackson-Belden Chamber of Commerce and is a member of their Food Fest Committee.  In addition, Dane volunteers his professional services for several youth organizations in the area.
