CPA, MANAGING/TAX PARTNER
 Ron is the managing partner of Bruner-Cox LLP. He joined the firm in 1997 as a partner. Prior to joining the Firm, Ron was a tax partner with Ernst & Young. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting from Walsh University.
Ron has more than 30 years of experience in taxation and business consulting. As a partner, he has concentrated on tax planning for privately-owned businesses. His tax and consulting experience includes:

Ron is Director of the Firm's Health Care and Non-Profit Services Group and a member of the Manufacturing and Wholesale Distribution Services Group, which concentrates on internal and external education related to industry trends. Ron is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants.
He is past president and director of the Akron/Canton chapter of the OSCPA, past chairman of the OSCPA Akron/Canton Estate Planning committee and past member of the OSCPA Advanced Federal Tax Symposium committee. In addition, he is past president of the Perry Township Rotary Club and a two-term past president of both the Downtown Canton Association and the Canton Club as well as past chairman of the Planned Giving Council of Walsh University. Ron was named the 1997 Outstanding Alumnus of Walsh University and was the recipient of the 1997 Stark County Small Business Advocate of the Year award.
Currently, Ron is the chairman of the Board of Directors for the North Canton Medical Foundation and the Business Excellence Award committee for the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce. He is also the current treasurer and a past chairman of Canton Tomorrow. Ron is a board member of the Jackson YMCA and Sisters of Charity Foundation, treasurer for DCLB Inc. and current director of the Perry Township Rotary Club. Ron actively participates in several fundraising drives for the community including the Ohio Foundation of Independent Colleges, Jackson Township YMCA Building Fund, Arts in Stark Fund Drive, Walsh University, and Catholic High Schools in Stark County. He has also served on several community oversite committees.
