Greg joined Bruner-Cox LLP in 1985. He is a graduate of Youngstown State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting and minors in computer science, management and economics.
Greg has more than 22 years experience working with construction and manufacturing companies, not-for-profits, colleges and universities, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, retirement communities, insurance companies, hospitals, retail grocery stores and employee benefit plans. Greg is Co-Director of the Firm's Construction and Real Estate Services Group, for which he is responsible for managing internal and external communication of educational information relating to the industry, including internal training, client seminars and newsletter communication. He is also a member of the Firm’s Not-for-Profit Service Group and the Health Care Service Group. Greg serves on the Bruner-Cox LLP Accounting and Audit Standards Committee, where he has been involved in setting the Firm’s policies and standards for audit, review and compilation services. He has conducted in-house continuing professional education (CPE) courses related to the Statements of Financial Accounting Standards and the AICPA’s Statements of Auditing Standards.
Greg is a member of The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and The Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants. He participated in the inaugural class of the Kent State University Leadership Academy. Greg is a current member and past president, treasurer and secretary of the Jackson Township Rotary Club, past chairman, treasurer & vice-chairman for the Stark County/Canton Convention and Visitor's Bureau. He is also treasurer for Vote Libraries for the Stark County District Library and treasurer for Faith Presbyterian Church in Akron.
