Jeanne is a director with Bruner-Cox LLP with her primary focus on providing audit and accounting services to health care and not-for-profit clients. With more than 20 years of experience in providing audit services to public sector clients, Jeanne has managed engagements for hospitals, colleges, private foundations, governments, and a variety of cultural and social service organizations, including 13 years experience in the audit and accounting for behavioral health care organizations subject to the requirements of the Ohio Department of Mental Health and The Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services.

Jeanne has been responsible for audits in accordance with OMB Circular A-133 and Government Auditing Standards, agreed-upon procedures compliance reporting, and has assisted clients with cost allocation and rate development for third-party reimbursement sources, internal accounting and compliance control design, and implementation and consulting regarding accounting pronouncements affecting not-for-profits. 

Jeanne graduated from The University of Akron where she received a Bachelors Degree in accounting, cum laude, and a Masters in business administration, with honors.  She is in compliance with the continuing education requirements for Government Auditing Standards. 

Jeanne serves on the Firm’s Audit & Accounting Committee and is a member of the Healthcare and Not-for-Profit Services Group, which concentrates on internal and external education related to industry trends.  She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants. She is also a member of the Health Care Financial Management Association, the Ohio Council of Behavioral Healthcare Providers Financial Management Group and American Society for Women Accountants. Currently, Jeanne serves as a board member and audit committee chair for Community Support Services, Inc., a behavioral health care organization serving Summit County.
