Carla joined the Bruner-Cox LLP in 1985. She has more than 20 years experience working on nonprofit, health and human services compliance, accounting and auditing issues. She earned a bachelor’s degree in management from Malone University and an associate’s degree in accounting from Stark State College.
Carla works exclusively on engagements for health care and nonprofit clients, providing services such as third party reimbursement analysis; internal audit review; internal accounting and compliance control design; audits in accordance with OMB Circular A-133 and Government Auditing Standards; agreed-upon procedures compliance reporting; and HealthCare Assurance Program (HCAP) annual audits. She is a member of the Firm's Health Care Services Group.
She is a member of The Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, Health Care Financial Management Association and the Community Mental Health & Alcohol/Drug Addiction Services Financial Management Group. Carla is actively involved at St. Mary Church and is treasurer of the St. Mary School Parent Teacher Organization. She also is a volunteer for Girl Scouts of Northeast Ohio.
