Due to challenges encountered by taxpayers using the Ohio Business Gateway system, the Ohio Department of Taxation has extended the filing deadline for sales tax returns that were due on Friday, July 23.  All sales tax returns or payments associated with this July 23 deadline will be treated as timely as long as they are received by 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, July 28.  No penalties or interest will apply to taxpayers who meet this newly-extended deadline.
