New Department of Labor (DOL) regulations require the 2009 Form 5500 to be filed electronically.  To replace the previous manual signing of the return, you must now register on the DOL’s EFAST2 system to obtain electronic credentials.  The registration takes approximately 5-10 minutes and can be done immediately.  You will receive a unique PIN and user ID to be used later during submission of the return.  The DOL has also provided a comprehensive website to address questions and concerns regarding this new process.
