Our History

Bruner-Cox LLP was founded as Jones & Cox in 1925, shortly after Al Cox became Ohio's 392nd CPA.  The two men started with one typewriter, one adding machine, three desks and two files.  By the end of their first year, they hired a staff accountant and the story of Bruner-Cox LLP as one of the fastest-growing Firms in Northeast Ohio began.
